Yes the output is for 1x1 tiles. I have tried to clarify this better, let me know what you think.
I did consider additionally requiring the missing tiles be grouped, however that would add a somewhat difficult problem (minimise the number of tiles to cover an area), which is not really the task I wanted to focus on in this kata.
Really cool looking kata ^^. So the coordinates outputted are all for 1x1 tiles? Or am I missunderstanding the task? Would it not be more interesting to try to have the least amount of tiles and the exact measures (x, y, width, height) for the missing tiles? Either way maybe description on that could be slightly clearer.
