• ###### juanignaciomalerb4commented on "Smallest Permutation" javascript solution

Why the "+" at the start of the return makes the string into a number? and if i put a "-" instead of the plus symbol makes the negatives go positive and viceversa? I want to know how it works, if someone can explain me or send a link of MDN, i can't find it. Thanks

• ###### Monkiouscommented on "Coding Meetup #8 - Higher-Order Functions Series - Will all continents be represented?" javascript solution

Checking the continent names wasn't the purpose of this Kata, as the description itself explains:

"The input array and continent names will always be valid and formatted as in the list above for example 'Africa' will always start with upper-case 'A'."

Could this solution go wrong considering other scenarios? Obviously! But it totally solves the kata the way it is without mistakes as its logic is adapted to the given instructions.

Valeu!
Replace é um dos métodos mais completos que tem quando se trata de regex. Ele dá acesso a praticamente tudo: grupos de captura, index, offset, match completa... O bixo é brabo demais kk
