ok, I understand. But I see it in a few solutions, is there any stylistic reason someone would do that? Or is that a behavior that happens in other languages and is unneccesary in python but could be done if someone was inclined?
people who discard the solution and take the first one they find to get rid of the kata in the "uncompleted" category. Of course, they do not get points or progress for that.
Especially in the 8 kyu range, there are a lot of very similar Kata. Is this a concern? Should we have a 'mark
as duplicate' built into the beta process? Would beta tester's time be better spent on unique Kata?
addendum, one year later: most of those users are actually cheaters... (how naïve I could be... x) )
I forgot the summation formula for the arithmetic series
Magnificent.
thanks
Semicolon can be used a separator but it's limited compared to other C-like languages.
I'm reading something about a semicolon being a seperator.

No reason at all. Someone submitted it first and all solutions without it got grouped with that solution.
why the semi colon? I'm a beginner
Can anyone explain what's happening in the above code!
Description updated
I see, makes sense.

How are there 4 people with this exact solution (ignoring whitespace)?
[Feature Request] Mark as duplicate.
