refers to the fact that the vector must still contain the same elements after being sorted, i.e. you cannot add, delete, or replace elements. such a vector can still be wave-sorted, there is no contradiction

Oh I totally missed this fork. I will merge it, but please fix the issue with format specifiers as commented under the fork.

I think it still has the issue:

As you can see the expected answer a:b is in the wrong ratio
