The desired result is very unclear. I even fixed the problem without knowing that that was the problem, but … for some reason my submission still failed. I had passed in
timeto the self-executing func in case it was a scope issue, because I didn't know what I was trying to accomplish, what I should be testing, etc. The tests I ran passed. But the Submission didn't succeed. So I don't know what tests were running that I wasn't passing. But I fixed what was, apparently, the intended problem.A good kata, but I'm not sure leaving the timecode error in there is all that great.

Sure, the description describes how you don't get a useful data anymore. That to me seemed like you meant that the time variable isn't being returned, so I fixed it by passing it in. However! if you fix that issue the response will not longer work. I am guessing this is because the test case is checking for a specific object that matches.

It's good idea, so I added link to description. In fact it's so obvious (when you know) that I've had problem how describe it, and write tests, without spoiling solution. Thanks!
This kata is pointless and has many holes to cheat. It does not test any useful langugue feature nor programming skill.

If you could also provide ways of cheating this kata that would be usefull to help prevent that?

needs random test cases and more test cases very easy to cheat!
I'm aware of that, but - in fact - it's not the point of that Kata. You just have to run it. Simply, making random tests is pointless.
