Using Python 3.6 I get:
STDERR: Traceback (most recent call last): File "main.py", line 3, in import codewars_test as test ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'codewars_test'
just hit attempt - sample tests are broken for now

Thx Myjinxin. I translated as presented, but I will make the changes. It needs fixed tests(Not necessarily in examples) and also to implement Johans idea below.
Should be OK for now, I've made some changes and all bad solutions have been wiped out. I will wait for the author to give guidance on additional tests.
Can we close issue?

Not sure there is still an issue here. I think the idea of the Kata is good as @kingcobra has explained.
