Welp, I missed that the domain was integers. The title's kinda misleading, though.
NaN is a Number but not an integer. So it's within the spec.

linq solution takes 2 to 3 times more time on big amounts of operation ( ->1m). Regarding the amount of acids in DNA, certainly not the smartest way to solve.
