I think the first step here is to get your code to do what you would have done manually if you wrote down numbers on paper and wanted to look for the unique value.
What you've written here is not what you would do, I promise that.
In terms of what needs to be remembered, you only need to remember one or two values, but here you have lists, and two of them! It's also a lot of work to check if something is in a list - you have to step through the whole list to do that.
I'm fairly new to Python, and I had trouble coming up with this. Can someone give me tips to write in a more Pythonic way?
