define a 'cache' decorator or just import from functools
This description and reversed test-cases is utter trash. Better solving leetcode.
Triple checked - seems like my answer is just wrong, I wish i could remove the "trust me part" haha
Thanks for advise, will do in the future
Without the input values, how can we know? When reporting an issue, give as much information as you can, it'll help to check if there is a problem or if your code is wrong.
Seems like test cases generator is broken.
Expected result is 73, but sum of all scores is 72. Trust me i double-checked, hehe
Nice kata anyways, thank you^^
Why is Y a row of the matrix and X a column ? this is logical for the XOY coordinate grid,
but not logical for other tasks where X == row and Y == col.
It would be nice to write this in the description.
Thanks for this kata!
I posted an explanation of this solution to evarx78's comment. I hope it will help you too.

I could not do it recursively so I try another approach :)
The lack of ancors and use of the '.' to match everything scares me here. It must work for this kata, but out in the wild who knows what this regex will match.
My solution fails only for the very big squares. It's probably something to do with the array reference issue, but I give up
I've tried to attempt 2 times, in both cases there was the failed test. Tried 3rd time and all tests were passed. Something is wrong here.
Clearly mentioned in the description: Note: Coordinates are marked as x horizontally and y vertically.
You are taking first(which is named as x) coordinate as y and second coordinate as x.
