Nice Kata! It would be nice to see a harder version where only the adjacent towns are right angle.
So if town i is missing then i-1 to i+1 is not a right angle but i-1 to i is right angle and i to i+1 is also right angle. Then an extra step is needed to calculate the direct distance from i-1 to i+1
