In the Opera browser, I had to switch to bright mode using the switch at the top right corner of the CW window. In dark mode, the dark text was really hard to read.

    write a function solve(n, bound)

Don't know if that was there when you raised this, but it's there now. Closing.

    Time for using lower: 1.2828872501850128
    Time for using in: 1.0886021964251995

I ran the tests a few times, and it seems using in is more time effective, but the difference is negligible.

CodeWars still uses PHPUnit 9.x, maybe this will help.

Ideally, it should be the other way round: examples should be expressed in a way which does not depend on a presented language, do not include language-specific names, and only present domain-specific information. This way, we will avoid multitude of language-specific blocks which lead to merge conflicts.

No changes can be made here because this fork was already approved 8 days ago.

Better create another fork for this.

    (Weird that I didn't get a notification)

Just trying to follow closer to the other translations.

Sorry I had to fork this one because it is difficult for me to make the necessary changes otherwise.

    In short:

    • Added 10 big array tests

    • Used a faster reference solution that solves this kata in $O(n)$ time rather than $O(n^2)$ time (despite not being a performance kata, actually slower algo will still works)

    • Simplified random matrix generation, excluding number 0 in the range

In case you are wondering, the honor points still go fully to the original author (you) 😉
