:D If I was confident I wouldn't somehow break the kata, I'd add this in. Been a few years since I wrestled with Codewars' ways! Glad you enjoyed it.

I reckon the last of those three makes the most sense, in terms of the slides on each string occurring together. I'll have to test it though to see what my code spits out... oh god. I'll do it when I'm feeling brave/at my computer.

Oh boy, not sure. To be honest, I don't really know if there are definite rules for how tabs are laid out in monospace. I prefer the look of the right hand version in terms of viewing the start of the beat, so inclined to let it be...

You're welcome! Thanks for completing it.

Ha touché, I'll sort. Weirdly displays as monospace on mine with that tag, though. Cheers again.

@ZED.CWT this is amazing, thanks so much. Just one change, not code related -- can you place the example tabs in the description in xmp tags so that it displays as monospace? Otherwise it's hard to see the formatting of the tab.

Want to approve this right away but having not done that before I don't want to risk you not being able to edit the description...

    Cheers!

Enjoyed this Kata, thanks. Might be nice to have sample tests that contain some of the weirder characters that can crop up in the random tests, maybe?

Hi Zoltan, nice Kata idea, but there are some problems: the tests should be 'testAssertEquals' and what the code has to return written out in full, or at least 'NO!' should be replaced by 'NO WAY!' in order for 'testAssertContains' to work with the requested return for a negative.

I think something is wrong with your test code, also, as when I try to test I get the error 'Journey is not defined'. You should check your code to make sure you've not got Journey instead of 'myJourney' somewhere, perhaps?

Hi Michele, enjoyed the Kata but I think you should add to the description the instruction to return the lower-case alphabet for an empty string, or a string consisting of just a space.

(To be honest, I'm not sure of the logic for returning the lower case alphabet, or why it needs to return anything other than an empty string? Don't know if it adds anything)

But yeah, maybe stick it in the description or at least the example tests? Thanks though.

Hi Ritz-w, enjoyed the Kata. Just a quick change to make -- you've pre-loaded a function to the user's window that's called calendarConversion rather than nengoConversion, as is required for the tests to work. I learned something about Japanese dating, thanks!

    OK, caught it. Thanks ZED.
